When do we meet?
Every Sunday from 4-5 p.m. in room 301 of the student center. Sometimes meeting times, dates, and locations change so
check your email!
What are we about?
Circle K International is a student service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International focusing on three key points:
Service, Leadership, and Fellowship
What do I have to do to become a member?
Fill out a new member form with such handy information as your email address and t-shirt size (more about those later!).
Forty Dollars in yearly dues is also required to be paid by October 21st. You can get your dues reimbursed by volunteering
to usher at a football and basketball game. We also would like you to attend one general meeting a month, and attend one
Circle K designated service project as well.
So where do we find out about service projects?
At the meetings, Kelly will tell you about upcoming service projects, as well as through emails and the club bulletin.
Times, dates, and type of service projects vary, so some of them are bound to fit your busy schedule!
What sort of service will we be doing?
We will be working with several different nonprofit organizations in the Washtenaw County area. In the past, we have
raked leaves, made cards for ill children and helped registration and set-up of several events across the state.
I want to get involved right away, how can I do this?
There are several ways to do so, including being delegates to the two student organization groups on campus. Also, the
CKI Fall Leadership Training Conference and District Conventions allows for many different sorts of leadership training. For
more information on how to get involved right away, just ask any of the executive board members or email us!
What is fellowship, and why is it important?
Throughout the year, we have planned several social (or fellowship) events so that Circle K members can bond outside of
meetings and service projects. It is our goal to create lasting friendships through our missions of Service, Leadership,
and Fellowship
